RPG Tutorial - Setting up the Level
Create a new Project and name it RPG Tutorial
To start we are going to add a level image so drag and drop this image into Torque Game Builder window. Go to the edit tab and set its position to 0,0. Also set its layer to 30 so it appears behind everything unless we want to hide something in layer 31.

Now the camera, the 2 boxes, need to be bigger so we can see more of the level. To change the camera size unselect everything and go to the edit tab. Set the camera size to 150,96.
Next we need a player. We will use the old man animationset for our player and he will be our mage. Add the Old Man Animationset into the game engine.
Go to the create tab and double click the image of the old man. Change his image mode to cell, set the cell count X to 10 and the cell count Y to 5 and press the save button.

Making the Player
Now that we have all the animation finished we need to put the old man into the game. Go to the create tab and add the Player_Wait animation by dragging it. The player looks stretched but that will change when we play the game. Scale the player down, while holding shift so it maintains proportion, until the X value is about 21. Set the world limit to clamp and make it so it fills the screen.
